for trouble free digital HD reception. 70m of cable is the maximum length recommended length for good satellite
cable but with a high output LNB we have had good results (on a farm) up to 110m! Very low attenuation per metre.

Cable Stripper

It is perfect for preparing the cable before fitting an F connector. The cable is cut to the correct depth and this makes
for a higher performance connection. If cut with a knife or other type of tool, the cut may damage or cut into the copper.
This can affect the digital signal. Use the correct tool for the job! This stipper is suitable for use with the screw-on
F connectors above or the professional compression fit F connectors below.

See the picture above and compare the difference! Very high quality professional F connectors - in your hand they feel heavy.
They are fitted with a compression tool (see picture) and this provides a watertight seal. The manufacturers claim you do not
then need either waterproof tape or a weather boot. Initially we thought it to be a good idea for a "belt and braces job", to use
tape or a weather boot as well. Then when we talked to the manufacturer, the told us these connectors are tested under water at
2 bars of pressure and extra waterproofing is definitely not needed. Since then with many applications we can confirm it is a
complete watertight connection. Once fitted they feel like they are "molded on". With screw on connectors, when fitting them
to an LNB or receiver, sometimes they also unscrew from the cable. This is not possible with compression fit connections. Clearly
compression fit is a better and more reliable connection. As usual, Satellite Superstore offers you the best products available.
Cablecon compression connectors manufactured in Denmark are the best compression connectors available today. Fits all of our
7.0mm coaxial cables. (Not 6.5mm cable) Also see the cable stripper below which is designed for this professional system. The
stripper prepares the cable for the compression tool to be applied. A knife could be used but this can cut into the cable too
far. The stripper cuts to the correct depth for a higher performance connection. Buy as a kit and save money.

Primesat "Watershield"

The Primesat Watershield. PRWS1. This Watershield is ideal for completely sealing a screw on or crimp on
F connector (not required with compression F connectors) The sticky gel inside completely seals the F
connector from water / rain. The plastic outer clips on. This makes for very fast fit and remove.
Amalgamating tape takes time to put on and has to be cut off. A weatherboot has to be put on the cable
before the F connector is fitted. The Watershield if a perfect solution for fast fitting and removal
and is 100% watertight if fitted correctly on the correct size of F connector and cable.
Typically suitable for 6.5mm and 7mm cable and connectors. Fits all of our F connectors and cables.

Triax UHF, phone and TWIN Satellite outlet plate.

This unit allows one cable to carry a UHF TV aerial signal and a VHF radio signal and satellite (from a multiswitch)
to a room. The radio signal could be FM or DAB if the appropriate aerials are fed into the multiswitch through
a combiner. A second cable from the multiswich to the outlet plate can carry a satellite signal for a second
receiver or twin tuner receiver. There is also a UHF return connector for an additional cable to take the UHF
back to a central area for distribution round the house. Or, the return can be used to bring a third UHF or VHF
